Magnolia Youth Choir

About Magnolia Youth Choir

Join our warm, welcoming community of young singers!

Magnolia Youth Choir (MYC) is a fun, welcoming community where young singers learn to use their voices with confidence and joy. Through playful warm-ups, rounds, and songs kids actually love (think Taylor Swift, The Beatles, Rihanna, and Big Thief), we build musical skills naturally — all by ear. No prior experience or sheet music reading required.

Rehearsals focus on:

  • Healthy vocal foundations + harmony-building

  • Listening, blending, and expressive performance

  • Movement and fun

  • Optional solos and small ensemble moments

Our teen assistants help model a love for singing at every class.

Fall registration for Choir is now open!

Explore our choir offerings and register using the button below. We recommend registering early, as some classes may fill.

If you have any questions about choir placement or which group is the best fit for your child, we'd be happy to help. Just email kat@magnoliamusicschool.com.

Fall 2026 Choir Semester Dates:

Most choirs begin the week of Sept 1 and run through Dec 9. There is no choir rehearsal the week of Thanksgiving (Nov 23–27).

All choirs perform in our Winter Concert on Saturday, Dec 12.

*Please note that Skylarks follows a slightly different rehearsal calendar.

Testimonials

Our daughters love MYC! Kat chooses music they are excited to sing! She creates a joyful learning environment where they feel comfortable to stretch and take risks as singers and performers. The end of semester shows are beautiful and fun for the whole family. We all adore Kat and highly recommend Magnolia Youth Choir!

My daughter is involved in so many activities (choir, dance, soccer, swim, and soon to be softball)— I asked her last week what her favorite is and she said CHOIR! You have created such an awesome community for these kids, thank you!
